The supervisor at another job was a young guy. All the guys used to rib each other and he would say something insulting and then say, “Just playin” meaning he was just kidding i.e. just playing around. He said it a hundred times a day though.
People still call me “bro” or “boss” or “dude” or the occasional “Holmes”.
I guess those will never go out of style.
