In arabic when someone doesnt understand something after many repetitions we call him a donkey lol My parents call me donkey sometimes when I dont listen to them haha

When i was younger, we used to say “it’s abusive” (can’t translate exactly cause the term we used was bad French.)
Every time we got mad at something or someone we would say: “it’s abusive”

NYC has a lot of slang:
The City–Manhattan
Bridge and Tunnel–typically someone from New Jersey (sorry, my friends from New Jersey)
yooz–plural of you
you good, or what?–typically means asking a person if they have what they want/need
flying rats–pigeons
bodega–convenience store
straphanger–someone who rides the subway
schlep–carrying a lot of bags
schpritz–raining lightly
schmear–lightly spreading cream cheese on a bagel
schmuck–calling someone a bad word
yada, yada–skipping over something unimportant
The list goes on and on.

My buddy’s Dad always said cheese wax instead of swearing. He did that till the day he died, LOL. You would have to know the family.
Len was such a great guy. Every once in a while he’d say the word s*** when he’d had a few, but that was rare

The big one that comes to my mind is using the word “wicked” as if it meant “very”
For example: That’s wicked cool!
Not sure if it’s a local thing but my girlfriend had never heard it used that way until she moved in with me

Me and my trans friends have a tendency to call things transphobic when they’re mildly inconvenient. Like “this store doesn’t accept credit cards? That’s transphobic!”
