Injected Venom

I can not wait to get off Latuda.
In two weeks.

My upper bum still hurts from the injected medication. It is close to my tummy on the side but it’s been hurting for the past two days. :frowning: I have good hopes for Ability.

I forgot to ask you why you decided to go for the injections instead of pills?

In my experience sometimes the injections hurt, others they don’t. Is really hit or miss.

My doctor said the injection will make me much more stable because my illness is fluctuating. Plus he said Abilify is one of the best. Plus the side effects are much less on injections

I agree - less side effects with injections.

I got my Abilify shot today, not hurting as much as the first one, so it went well

I have acne which can make injections painful so I get my jag every 4 weeks instead of 2. I think abilify is 4 weekly?

I got told that they give it to you in tablet form first, so that they can check your tolerance for a few weeks before offering it to you as a injection…

It might just be more psychiatrist bull either way.

I couldn’t tolerate it so ended up on something else.
