Inflatable Furniture Or No Furniture

Wouldn’t think it’s a good value. If you save for a few more weeks you can find a decent futon at Walmart in the $95 range (here in Canada, anyhow). We just bought one today for our family room. It’s what you’d expect for the price, but it should take a couple of years of teenagers flopping on it, so that’s okay.

If you click on Malvoks link you can see they have it for $59.00.

Yeah, sometimes thrid-party sellers will offer it for a bit less than Amazon itself. This is usually a good deal if it’s “Fulfilled by Amazon” but if it isn’t you could run into trouble.

I like the way it looks. Would you slide off of it I wonder or into an uncomfortable position?

Notice the body language on the Amazon model? Towards the end of the sofa pics she looks moody and uncomfortable.

OR

she could be a typical diva used to having luxuries.

I’ve bought a ton of stuff on Amazon.com over the years, often from third party sellers. I’ve only ran into problems once when a seller didn’t send a textbook to me for over a month. I complained to Amazon.com and they cancelled my order for me.

Me too, I really like Amazon. I’ve had a couple of problems but Amazon always fixed them and usually compensated me for the trouble. If they were only tax-free.

You can get shipping for free sometimes. There is also some club or deal from an entirely different party that you can subscribe to for a fee and it will give you discounts on postage and shipping. I think their coverage extends to other sites besides Amazon.com. Have you heard of this?

pob, I kinda doubt that the manufacturer would make the product that way. It’s main purpose is to be sat on, I doubt they would design a couch that you would slip off of.

Yeah, but BakedBeans, the blonde model from YOUR link looks VERY comfortable. Notice the big smile.

Inflatable couch VS WalMart Futon

Still like the couch better.

Well if they both cost $59.00 I would pick the Futon. It’s just fancier and more stylish. I’ve slept on Futons before. I think it would be better for sleeping on then the inflatable couch. But could you even afford $239.00?

Could I afford $239.00? No.

Futon review

“I would rather sleep on the carpet then this”. LOL

What about a dedicated inflatable mattress? Do you need to sit on it too? You’ll probably find a higher quality mattress for the price.

They are actually quite comfortable when they fold out into a bed.

Actually looked at a Coleman Air matress.

Maybe. But I’ve bought stuff that didn’t work right. I bought 3 alarm clocks with the bells on top (different brands) that quit running the first weeks. They weren’t inexpensive; they were ** cheap.**

Here’s one that looks nice. Four out of five stars with over 1,700 reviews. Comes with an electric pump too. The price is in range as well.

Well you get what you pay for.

BakedBeans, I have a chair like this in my livingroom, that I bought at Walgreens in the spring. It’s very comfortable + sturdy + plenty big for me at 190 lbs. Different ones sit slightly differently. This one looks like mine, but I can’t say.

If you like one, you could get another, for whoever or a different view.
