In a poll I did there are four people on this forum in my age group, and two in the older than me group. On this forum, it’s practically impossible to hangout with people my own age. Just two older than me, the majority younger than me. I feel a little out of place.
You should stick around! You’re a great contributor.
Thanks GEDchill. Nothing going on that I can discuss, as it involves religion.
See that’s the beauty of being immature; I’m 59 and I operate like I’m 17 and can kind of get along with younger age groups.
True. I just don’t know if the younger people want an old fogey like me hanging out with them. I’m surprised the software allowed old fogey. It’s a degoratory term according to Google.
I think it is great having you here.
I’m 56 and I get along with all age groups.
That’s what I like about this forum.
It’s got a good mix of different cultures and ages.
It’s called experience; and you have it. I believe a person can learn something from everybody, regardless of their age.
True. When you are old it seems like you are supposed to know it all, but from my own experience that isn’t so.
You aren’t that old @anon54988740
We are about the same age and I don’t consider my age to be so old.
You don’t have to know it all. But you can’t live on this planet for 60 years without knowing something.
Yeah. It’s just my arthritis talking.
I’m old enough to have(according to my father) rushed
into the kitchen to share the news of the Kennedy election in the fall
of 1960’.
Well that beats me. I was one year old in 1960, but I have a vague memory of seeing his horse drawn hearse on the TV after he was shot. The first President I remember is Richard Nixon, The Crook. He was elected in 1968 when I was 9.
My 4th birthday was in January 1961.
My birthday is May 1959.
My mom was born in January back in 1937.
