So I just posted a pic of myself with my dog on facebook only to realize I look old in the pic! Ugh! I’m not liking aging. But it’s part of life and I need to adjust my attitude towards it. I’m almost 50 so obviously I’m going to age.
I’m aging like a fine cheddar
So are my socks
apparently aging accelerates in the mid 40’s and then again in the 60’s
I believe it @daydreamer . That’s exactly what is going on.
You are still young. I turn 32 in August time flies.
I’ll be 44 in a few weeks. I hope you live to 100 now that you say that! Hugs
I turn 30 this May.
Don’t worry @LoveHiking
You are still young!
lol @roxanna ! I want to live as long as I can comfortably. I’m not sure how long that means though
I have grey in my beard now.
Put on plenty of timber as well
Used to be nothing of me
Need to get my belly down as you’d think I was pregnant
lol! But yeah, I have some gray too now
- Health issues have piled on in the last 3-4 years. As happens with many of us as we age , looks have gone to pot. About 75 lbs overweight.Cutting back on takeaways compared to when I lived in Essex hasn’t help much. Bladder control isn’t as good as it used to be. . Very probably not as cognitively sharp as I was when I first started posting here, but not totally out of place in the high IQ community where the average person is about half my age. While scores are age adjusted when it comes to the SB & WAIS, that doesn’t usually happen with high range tests.
36 don’t trust a fart
I relate to this but I have autoimmune white matter brain disease.
I’m sorry things are getting tough on you.
Thank you. The biggest decline has been physically. Cognitively it’s within the range of decline we all experience as a natural part of the ageing process.
