You are heading in to your best years @san_pedro , I had the most wonderful time in my early 40’s. I’m 54 now. Things aren’t too bad at this age except I’ve got degenerative disc disease (arthritis in my spine) and it hurts a bit.

I matured a lot in the last 9 years

I take tylenol and a prescription pain killer that is not an opioid. But I try to handle as much pain as possible to raise my pain tolerance because this is degenerative and it’s only going to get worse over the years.

I hate pain

You must be very strong to put up with your pain
