I think optimism is very important when it comes to mental disorders. I’m not a very optimistic person by nature, but negativity just seems to lead to a downward spiral — particularly with this illness.
I have a hard time when I run into a lot of negativity. I get absorbed into it.
I try to be optimistic. I have some members of my family that are natural born optimist.
You know… it’s not easy being an optimist. It takes work.
To keep my optimism I have to find it and keep it in mind… I have to not let the negative or toxic people in my family bring me down.
Optimism requires constant renewal. I’m still learning how to stay optimistic.
Live for someone and gain hope.
Live for God and have hope to time indefinite. Hope is perceived as something more powerful than optimism.
