No, people are far more attracted to positive people than negative people.
Unless it comes across as false, in which case, then yes you look silly. If it looks true and natural, then the world is your oyster.

It’s hard not to be optimistic and positive if you’ve been struggling with a mental illness. Everything else seems so easy.

I volunteer at a care home and they had to do some training about positive language when talking or writing up about service users.
It helped change the atmosphere into a more positive one, by changing the way they talked and eventually perceived them.
