I read somewhere once that if you’ve been on APs a certain amount of time without developing TD, you never will.

Hopefully that’s true. Not sure how long though

I can but I’m not sure if 5mg abilify has antipsychotic properties. Though.

I think the risk increases with dosage. 10mg Abilify is a relatively low dose. But it doesen’t hurt to try 5mg if you and your doctor agree on this. Maybe the doctor can tell you more about risk for TD also.

I’ve been on moderate to higher doses of Risperdal for decades.
It was inevitable that I would develop TD.
I don’t think you have anything to worry about @anon25873142
Abilify is a low risk med
Even my case is milder right now

I’m a bit worried too I take haldol which has a high risk of TD but I gotta take it sadly it’s the only one that works
