I heard a woman on the internet, and she was talking about how narcisists have to get their “narcisistic supply”. They have to get their daily quota of admiration, and they don’t really care about anyone. I go through phases. Sometimes I can be really good at sounding great, but I lack the stamina to really apply myself. I have these ambitions to be a writer, and I have written a little. I’ve probably written about fifty 1,500 word stories, and four 5,000 word plus stories. Sometimes I think narcisism and sz go hand in hand.
It is written that if you are asking the question whether you have NPD or not then you most likely don’t have it. Just going from what I have read on the subject.
I think a little narcisism is healthy…too much and you can go off the deep end.

Sz is serious business. Your mind becomes obsessed with a lot of things. I wouldn’t say I’m narcissistic but I am self involved to a certain extent. I’m still a generous person but I do what I need to get by most times. It’s not a slight. It’s just the breaks.

I’ve been called a narcissist before. I think my dad has it as well as my step dad.
