Maybe i can’t handle a bird but cats? Well I’m thinking of getting a Scottish fold cat they stay indoors and they don’t kill birds and present them to you as gifts

Why is it whenever I get depressed I want to get a pet. I guess i crave that affection.
It’s because animals help with depression and other things such as anxiety. I for one think getting a cat is a wonderful idea just remember it’s not going to go away just because you feel better.

Don’t get a cat. They’ll just die one day. There’s nothing worse than the loss of a pet.
nothing wrong with getting a cat. you can cuddle to sleep but they do require attention. cuddle, pet, bathe, comb and cut their nails. Please don’t remove the nails. Just you can neuter or get one stabilized. I wish I had a cat right now love 'em.

if I get a dog… hmmm what would I call it. If I get a male dog, I would call him Knox or Max, I like names with X in it.

That’s so grim of you everhopeful! The in between is what matters most, a pet is a wonderful companion and having the responsability to care for another life is a great task to endure.
