I have wanted a dog for ages. My roommate said she is ok if i get one. But animals are like little babies. Major responsibility.

My father wants a dog but I’m the one who will be responsible.
Dogs are a lot of work and honestly I’m not sure if I am ready for all that work!
I’m not 100 percent since my last psychotic break 2 years ago.

The whole time I was growing up whenever I told my dad, “I wish I had a better bike”, or, “I wish I had a better car” or, “I wish I had more money” he would always say, “Wish in one hand and sh*t in the other and see which one fills up fastest”.
