Maybe Im stupid but sometimes at night, before I go to sleep, I have troubles breathing. Like I can’t breathe through my nose as if I had the flu, except that I don’t.
Do you think it is the Seroquel?
Possibly. I had spasms of the larynx (the muscle in your throat) and couldn’t breathe and thought I was going to die on seroquel.
So then what do you do?
let your dr know
Yes, talk to your doctor.
I felt strange on Seroquel
Night time hallucinations induced by the Seroquel
It knocked me out cold
Yeah talk to your doctor @anon55055794
Sometimes the nose gets blocked for no apparent reason in my experience. I wouldn’t connect it to seroquel unless it happens consistently when you take it.
Stuffed nasal passages is a known side effect of Seroquel @anon55055794
Yeah talk with your doctor
how scary…so sorry this happened…sounds like you need a different med…try generic prolixin…that’s what I’m on and I love it.
It may or may not be the Seroquel. Discuss it with your dr. Just remember, a nose can do that naturally, not just on meds.
I don’t know if it’s a big enough deal to change meds, the body has a innate ability to breathe through the mouth when nose is blocked, just like when having a cold.
I don’t want to change meds. I really like it. Because it does not lower my level of dopamin
It does that to me sometimes on the 300mg at night. Been on it donkeys years and i haven’t dropped dead yet.
Dear girl Seroquel is one of the very, very safe antipsychotics especially compared to 1. Gen antipsychotics and at doses below 300 mgs it’s rather harmless.
Keep the
up and go for your Seroquel.
I have found Geodon and Seroquel to be a good combination of drugs for me.
Sounds like you might be allergic to something?? Or you might have a nose congestion?
Go to a specialist and make them exam you.
Seroquel dropped my blood pressure and I went dark. All I did on Seroquel was sleep. It can work for others it’s just not my kind of med.
I hope it will work out for you. Another vote to speak with your dr about this. I hope this goes away quickly.
I cannot imagine that a dose of 100 mgs could kill you If so I should be dead when I took 1000 mg of qutiapine for 3 days earlier this year.
Now where I’ve got no treatment team to look me over the shoulders I must learn to take 600 mg Seroquel despite my avolations.
Yeah overall Seroquel is a reliable drug but it wasn’t for me.
It messed with my thyroid level and raised my blood glucose levels significantly
It also gave me leg pain
