Im 3,5 months off Zyprexa. I could not exist on that drug. I was so tired, depressed and overweight. I was zombified. But now Im on Seroquel, but the problem is that I cannot breathe at night when I take it. My nose gets stopped.
I don’t know what to do. Because I can’t sleep, Im very manic. Im drunk or high all the time. And then the hook up

Alcohol is not helping you I I understood it right, you must know it, medications vary and have different side affects that’s bad . I hope you can get through this .

alcohol is a depressant, weed is a stimulant…both affect the potency of your meds…keep taking your meds please…try and stop the partying…it’s not good for you right now. don’t feel bad about the hook up…you did while delusional…I believe you are semi if not full blown psychotic…I think you need ER.

I seriously consider just to go completely off meds , it is all bunch of crap. With side effects more shitty than the other
First I gained 40 lbs, then I got tired and slept 12 hours a day, then got depressed for 3 years on Zyprexa. Lost my sex drive too
Now I felt happier on Seroquel. But now i have troubles breathing.

You go off meds- you know what happens. You are an adult.
Where is your treasure? Inside you or outside you? Meds? How long will you survive without meds? Then they will put you on more meds more heavy side effects be, think smart

I’ll probably be on Olanzapine (Zyprexa) for the rest of my life. Ive read too many horror stories of people stopping and then not being able to sleep. Scary sh-it.

Yes I remember but I do sleep on Seroquel and maybe could you. It is just the shitty side effect with not breathing

Amisulpiride was a good one as it has mood lifting effects

Zyprexa and seroquel is the most sedating. Then there’s clozapine, but that’s only if you are treatment resistant. Latuda is somewhat sedating and is not zombiefying. I heard risperidone also is somewhat sedating. There are others. Maybe your doctor knows some good alternatives. But all meds carry side effects. And the kicker is everyone gets a different set of side effects from the same med, even though there are some communal ones. That’s why you just have to try them out for yourself. If your lucky you find one with not too bad side effects.
Maybe Seroquel isn’t strong enough if you’re going psychotic on it. You can take a stronger dose.
You can have feelings on Caplyta, but it’s a weak drug. I have more hallucinations on it. However, I know they’re not real. That’s a lot different than when I was not medicated. I thought all of my hallucinations were real and then my beliefs became delusions.
