Why the switch?

I’ve stuck with Abilify injections now for years. I have a really short attention span, but it has stopped me from going off the rails.

Severe negative symptoms, Vraylar is targeting them, I need to be patient I think 9 days is not long

I dunno, man. I just googled ‘Vraylar side effects’ and this is what came up…

  • Drowsiness .
  • Fainting.
  • Headache.
  • Indigestion .
  • Nausea .
  • Nervousness.
  • Weight Gain .

But perhaps if you’re on a low dose, these side effects won’t happen.

Abilify has even more side effects i think

I wish for you that your negative symptoms will improve with time. It’s one of the antipsychotics that is said to improve negatives because it affects the D 3 receptors. I’m not one of the fortunated who can switch because it’s tooke my treatment team 30 years to find the right combo of meds to wipe out the positives. I just have to live with the negatives and cognitive.

1.5 mg is a very low dosage! You’ll probably need an increase in the near future.
