I keep messing up. I’ll only go so long and there’s a temptation and I can’t say no. I’m clean right now but I can’t honestly say that I’m going to make it through the day without using. It’s pretty dire.
I’m sad to hear that.
Can you investigate N.A. (narcotics anonymous). At least download some of their stuff to read?
Are you in possession or contacting people with access?
Be careful. You’re on a limited budget. Don’t lose your health and home.
@Leaf, it’s me, goldenrex.
No I’m not in possession or buying any.
I just know someone who stops by and does it with me.
I don’t know, @Leaf.
Maybe you should call and tell them not to drop by?
Or straight ignore them when they do come by.
You’ve got a lot to lose, girlfriend.
You just got your new place and are decorating.
You can’t afford to ■■■■ up.
Do you have a PRN?
I have Vistaril. But it barely does anything.
Pretend that it does work and take it.
Maybe make yourself some hot tea,
Just look around at your place and appreciate where you are in life.
You don’t want a fleeting high to take that all away.
You know how miserable you’ll be if you use.
Ok, I’ll try. I may have to do something drastic though because I don’t seem to be able to turn it down. I may need to tell my therapist. But then my pdoc will know, their gonna want to change meds, I’m gonna have to talk to the drug couselor. They’re gonna make a whole big deal about it. ahhh.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing leafy. That may be exactly what you need.
They make a big deal of it because it’s a big deal.
You probably need to go back to the drug counselor if you’re this desperate.
I’d make that call to your therapist.
If I have to I will, but I was just hoping I could nip it in the bud. I just can’t quite seem to.
Yeah, I think talking to someone with expertise in this area in real life is a good idea at this point.
Ok you guys, thanks for the advice. I appreciate it.
You need to stop using again. I know it’s hard to say no. A while back I had a friend that would give me freebies too.
But you have to reach a point to where you just flat out refuse to do it anymore.
You can do it. Meth is the worst drug a person can do. Even if you’re just dabbling, it will take its toll.
You need to do whatever it takes to stay clean @Leaf. You have too much to lose.
You can quit leafy, we all believe in you!
you can do it we believe in you. Its not going to bring you the happiness you really want.
Drugs just make you feel worse. You’ll have desperation to get more, it ruins your health, it causes extreme anxiety, and worsens sz type issues like paranoia and hallucinations. It’s totally not worth it.
I recommend talking with your therapist honestly, and getting yourself a sponsor from Narcotics Anonymous
