It seems like a lifetime ago now. No cravings remain. I just cringe now at how stupid I was to use again after being clean for so long. It just go to show you you can never let your guard down. You’re never safe from your addictions. You have to say to yourself I’m not going to use today everyday. And be very careful who you let in your life.
congratulations on being clean for four months @Leaf =)
Thank you @lekkerhondje
Congratulations! That’s awesome!
I’m glad for you, @Leaf
Thank you @LilyoftheValley and @PinCushion
Great news Leafy, well done x
Thank you @Ribbon I appreciate it
Amazing, so proud of you.
Thanks @shutterbug that means a lot
I am so impressed with you @Leaf. I know i say it a lot, but readiing your posts over the past several years has been truly inspiring for me. You decided you wanted to. make your life better, and then you did it. When soomething doesn’t work, you try something else. When you slide back, you push yourself back up again. It is an amazing story to have witnessed over time.
Congratulations @Leaf!
Keep on fighting
That’s awesome @Leaf
Way to go!
Thank you very much @Ninjastar I keep trying my best even if I do mess up from time to time
Thank you so much @Wave and @Headspark
Hey, we all mess up from time to time. The impirtant part is the “keep trying” part.
You’re doing great!
I’ve come to like some things about myself. One of the things I like the best is I keep trying. I think that shows an optimism.
Thank you @Pikasaur
That is an awesome quality. In my time here, I would say it is the most important quality I see in people who are able to recover and live lives they are happy with. The ability to adapt and try new things, even after so many failures and backslides. I think you’re right. It seems to boil down to whether you believe it’s possible to have a happy/better/improved life.
