I'm making a new blog, help!

I am slowly makong a new log as an information site for people. It is abput SZA primarily, with Sz and bolar so of cpurse mania, psychosis, and depression.

The reason I said Help is because I’m going to be gathering links to helpful sites and articles then posting them on a static page. I was wondering if anyone had favorite sites or articles on Sza and Sza or bipolar, etc that they’d like to share.

I don’t want anyone to go searching for me, I just want anything you already know and see as a good resource. This site and forum will be listed, of course!

Also, if you know of a place I should avoidsharing, please let me know!

Thanks!

This one is on the site but I think it’s good to highlight since it gives evidence for why there’s less brain loss with med rather than without

I don’t do research or the news on my blog since I don’t trust any of 'em

mine is creative, activism, and politics.

Am i allowed to share the blog, @Ninjastar @anon9798425 ? I’m anonymous on it, just my first name when I post. Edited the blogger profile to hide my email.

Great endeavor! You’re so kind to seek to help so many! What a great resource!

try best method for blogging… It is Called The K.I.S.S. Method… Meaning Keep It Simple Silly.
If your making a blog keep names and locations out of it… Make sure any whom post keep location and names off the site. this will help with anonymity. Then don’t drive your self nutz over every detail as well. Just make sure spelling are correct and facts are checked  and good luck to you and your blog.

For people living in the UK specifically, livingwithschizophreniauk.org is a fairly extensive resource. I’ve used it since 2016, my dx date. Some of it makes me roll my eyes for how obvious it can get. The website’s articles lack real substance but it’s good for an intro on the basics. Idk, that’s the only one I’m familiar with.

I commend you for your project. There is a severe lack of helpful (HELPFUL) websites for people actually living with the illness. It seems they all think schizophrenia only affects family, friends, and coworkers, but never actually the person living through the hell.

The vast majority of the sites I use are general mental health sites,as opposed to specifically for psychosis , schizophrenia or schizoaffective . These are some RSS feeds.

https://www.eurekalert.org/rss/social_behavioral.xml
http://feeds.reuters.com/reuters/healthNews
https://bmcpsychiatry.biomedcentral.com/articles/most-recent/rss.xml

https://www.theguardian.com/society/mental-health/rss

I’ve also set up google alerts for bipolar, cognitive, psychosis and schizophrenia, and pubmed feeds for bipolar and schizophrenia

Nice! I dont think you would want my sites though. I read mostly “boring” official research studies, critical psychiatry articles and dutch sites with alternative views on psychosis and treatment.

Thanks for the info @firemonkey!
