Id usually keep my nails clipped. I know some people can play guitar with long nails but i had too much trouble. I also used a 0.2 and 0.5 mm finger picks. I found the bigger ones too loud for me.

There’s a dude can’t think of his name but he plays guitar on the street. He doesn’t use a pick. His thumb nail is long and he uses that as a pick. He’s really good. He’s on YouTube.

I haven’t played my guitar in at least three years. It needs to be restrung. I hope you continue to enjoy it. It brought me pleasure.

Get a ukulele…they got nylon strings that are easier on your fingers than steel. Easy to pack to travel,camp, beach whatever. Oh and learning chords is ten times easier on piano. So learn piano first then chords will make sense.

So far I can play the chords

C, A, G, E, Am, Em but not perfectly :pensive:

They sound so crap lol.
