I'm experimenting with different foods

I’ve always eaten good homemade meals but I decided to try some new recipes as it’s so easy to get stuck in the habit of eating the same things all the time. Last night I made couscous with peach, feta cheese and mixed seeds, it was really tasty and I felt good eating a good nutritious vegetarian meal. Tomorrow I’m going to try it with beetroot and goats cheese.

Anybody have any simple recipe ideas I could try? I’m determined to lose weight, and I’m hoping eating really healthy stuff will improve my mental state too. Any recipes much appreciated

The peach and feta cheese sounds like an interesting combination.

That sounds like a great, fresh meal. Must try it. My most recent discovery is figs, ham, mozzarella cheese and drizled with balsamic vinegar. Figs are surprisingly sweet. I always thought they would be savoury.

That sounds really good, I only tried figs recently too, with a little trepidation, and was pleasantly surprised. I’ll def try that one, cheers!

I love allrecipes.com. They have thousands of recipes that people have cooked and rated and are free. I use it all the time.

It sounds like you are eating Mediterranean type foods. They have a big Mediterranean section on allrecipes.

Great, I’ll def check that out, I do like Med style food, I just don’t have much experience of cooking it. Thanks for the link!
