Im being followed

I feel like Im being followed offline and online. I cant go outside without being tracked and I cant browse the internet without being monitored. Im being watched as I type this

So you have evidence for this? I think @LilyoftheValley also thinks that she’s being followed.

@Jonathan2 I cant prove anything but I have closed my windows and I get no natural light inside my apartment they cant follow me that well and I can fight back a little bit without breaking the law or hurting anyone

When are you seeing your pdoc? Maybe that a med adjustment will help.

@Jonathan2 I am uncertain what you mean by pdoc

Pdoc is the forum lingo for psychiatrist.

Welcome to the club.

I feel like im being tracked as I browse the internet. Some entity is following me and tracking what Im doing and what sites I visit and what I type. I am in dark room so they cant fully track me offline because of lack of natural light.

You sound in crisis. Is there someone you can reach out to?

@Jonathan2 I dont want to reach out to anyone as of now. I think it could worsen my paranoia.

No one is tracking you. It’s a delusion. Are you taking medication? If not I would start with that right away.

Agree with @Jonathan2 . Get in touch with family, friends or healthcare professionals if things are getting out of hand.

@Mr_Hope I am taking my meds why is everyone doubting me

Because it’s common paranoia in schizophrenia and unless you engage in criminal activities it’s unlikely that you’re being followed.

Sometimes a higher dose of meds helps. Worth a try.

That’s good. It’s just that when things get out of hand it’s often because medication is neglected. How long have you had these thoughts about being followed? If it’s persisting i would contact your general practicioner or a psychiatrist to evaluate your situation.

I cant trust anyones opinion right now

I hope you’ll be okay. I agree that it is quite common among paranoid sz to have delusions that somebody is following and in some other way surveilling. Maybe you can discuss with your pdoc or maybe with family members. I know it can be difficult to be open about your current situation. I wish you’ll be well.

Yes. I have the exact same problem. It’s constant. But I ask people I trust for reality checks. It helps sometimes, but not every time. I’ve tried so many different meds, but nothing takes that away for me. Do you have a therapist you can talk to in order to help you emotionally deal with the paranoia?

Hello bud, first and foremost, this sounds like a delusion. That being said I have no information about you’re life your community and your involvement in crime.

You very well could be among the group of people that have dabbled in drugs and have now dealt with this situation.

There may be some middle ground where, you have some reasonableness to your expectation, but until you reveal how realistic that is and such, I will go with the assumption that you are generally safe, and that this is a delusion.

If this is just a delusion, you have to let yourself relax, this is gonna take time, and it may never fully go away completely, but I suspect if my own experience with being well medicated (as in medicated and feeling some therapeutic success with it) you should actually be pretty good in a semi short to medium period of time.

Finding the right medicine takes time, the “practice” of medicine takes work, it takes getting it wrong and using that information to work towards better solutions. Does that sound fast when your drug might take months to become noticeably therapeutic? Hell no. It took me two years to get to a good spot and now I’m going a step farther in my journey and in the process of another med change years after finding something “good enough”. I appreciate that its pretty depressing and you may be depressed about this situation but the upshot is, if you mainly have problems in the “positive” range of symptoms, you have a really good shot of the medicine being very effective its just a matter of finding one or possibly a mixture that your personal brain reacts well to.

That sentence makes no sense. Natural light has nothing to do with them tracking you easily. If someone is really intent on tracking you there are other non-visible spectrums they can cheaply use. What about you is so special that “they” will expend massive resources to follow around?

I cannot say for sure why or who is following me. I have done everything in my power to make tracking difficult
