I'm asking for help after 5 months having hallucinations and delirium

I’ve never talked with my parents about the hallucinations and deliriums i’m having since April 2. In 09/02 of this year I did get really drunk, in the next day I start thinking everything was so weird and than the hallucinations and deliriums started. I had some symptoms of schizophrenia before but I never talked about it with someone. So, tomorrow I’m going to ask for help. This unbelievable torture must stop.

@burn it’s good that you’re going to ask for help.

Research has confirmed repeatedly that the earlier that people get treatment for the early signs of mental illness (especially schizophrenia and related disorders) the better the long term outcome for the person.

Good for you seeking help right away. I went 2 years of psychosis before a suicide attempt made me see the doctor. Better to not underestimate the disease. Check in from time to time yea. I like people to check in every once in a while since I’m worried about the number of sz that commit suicide.
