I’m not fully convinced of my diagnosis of schizophrenia, but, I’ll be the first to admit that I have anger issues, depression, and anxiety. I would like to improve my life and find a way to help others who are struggling.

I’m diagnosed SZA and paranoid sz, but I don’t think I have it. I do have ptsd or complex ptsd as my dr says , and depression and anxiety

Treatment is always the important thing. Diagnosis often changes and many think that mental disorders are on a spectrum. Sometimes they overlap and that can be confusing but ultimately taking the medications is what is important.

Before my sz I was sure of having autism until I started hearing voices. I guess psychiatrists are almost always right. All 7 psychiatrists said I have sz.

I even told many drs that I have autism and they said I have nothing.

I’ve been diagnosed sza for the last 26 years by a million pdoc’s. I’m very sure of my diagnosis.

I knew something was wrong with me but not sure of what it is. When my first psychiatrist told me I have sz I felt relieved.

My diagnosis goes from bipolar to schizoaffective - back and forth.
Currently my psychiatrist and therapist diagnosed me with bipolar disorder.

That’s the best way to be. Admitting things to yourself. I think its the first step for change.

I agree with this. Right now I know that I need the medication to keep myself level headed and I know that I can’t function at least right now without it.

what u think that trigger ur voice? have u been on any meds (any psych drugs even ADs) for a while before the voice appears?
No, voices appeared for no reason. Sz is mostly genetic. I was diagnosed with sz at 21 y.o. after trying to kill myself, voices told me to do it. Drs in the emergency said I would be dead from liver failure if my parents brought me late. I vomited for 2 hrs from intentional Tylenol intoxication and overdose. My parents saved my life, they saw me vomiting when they came home and brought me to the emergency.
