A friend from high school that I see once a year at most texted me yesterday, asking to meet up within the next few days because she’s in town.
I’m too nervous. I have not even replied yet.
Can anyone relate? If I ignore her what will happen?

I’ve got a similar friend. They’re in the country 2 or 3 times a year.
The last time I said I wasn’t feeling great and would rather not meet up. They were fine with it.
If you ignore them , they’ll just feel ghosted and you’ll probably never see them again.
I would think it would be better to just say you arent feeling up to it than to ignore the texts. You might lose a friend if you just start ignoring her.
Its more respectful to at least reply.
Why don’t you want to meet this person?
Yeah probs best just to say your not up for it cause of anxiety or something.
I do that a lot with people. Cause its true. Im bad with people these days.
