If you're sz do you notice

a big difference in sza people? Do our moods stand out to you, is it noticeable?

No, I don’t notice any differences on this forum anyway. But, every sza and sz is different. Some sza’s have really noticeable moods and others don’t. Take me for instance. I’m sza and my mood has been euthymic for the past fifteen years. My friend, who is also sza, has wild mood swings every day it seems. Some schizophrenics have mood swings. So, everybody is different.

Yes, I’ve noticed you do seem very even keeled. That’s good. My moods are all over the place.

I’m sza and have mood swings a lot. Right now i’m going through a little bit of depression and hallucinate every day. Thankfully they’re getting quieter.

I personally don’t notice a difference, but that may be due to lack of inflection via text writing.

I don’t think I show my MDD all that much, even when I’m having daily thoughts of dark things. It’s when I really open up that people notice how bad it really is.

I suppose that’s a form of hiding it, which I’m guilty of.

Yes, I’m sorry for your troubles. Why is it that psychosis and depression seem to go hand in hand?

Hummm wonder if they do, am I SZ or SZA ?

It’s a survival instinct to hide our depression, just use a little piece of our brain to act as if everything is fine and to continue to relate to people as if. We can’t present ourselves honestly or else we would be locked up, that’s how I feel anyway.

I had a thyroid problem when I was sick so it comes off as SZA but I am diagnosed now just SZ. the thyroid problem kept me really mood swinging…but it was also due to my belief system.

I don’t know, you always seem so chipper, I would say you’re neurotypical and just like hanging out with us.

Funny, I would have guessed you sza.

nods

I fear being locked up again, I never had a good time on 5150.

It’s a balancing act, sharing enough to get help, but not sharing to much to get to institutionalization.

Wishing you some relief leaf.

I’m SZA, was wondering if people could tell

Oh I’m plenty fine right now, I’m good in fact, other than anxiety, that I just have to learn to live with.

You seem really well adjusted to me. I like you a lot.

I’m sza, and I’ve never really noticed a difference on people here. I theorize, like @Ooorgle did, that it may be die to writing vs. speaking in person.

I have wild mood swings sometimes, but they are usually from super bouncy/happy to super sad/crying. I don’t really get angry unless it’s something that, I think, a normal person might also get angry over.

Funny, I get angry/agitated when manic and that’s about it usually. Oh I mean I get angry at elder abuse and child molestation and the things that everyone gets mad about but just to get angry it usually a sign of mania. It’s almost always a dead give away. Which is good because I lack insight apparently when manic.

You can say that again

Isn’t that funny, we know when we’re depressed, but no clue when we’re manic. How does that work???
