Nothing but politics and negativity in my feed.
I need to either delete my account or take a long break.
I do see the good for facebook though. For old family to be reunited, stay in touch with old friends. Stuff like that.

I donāt use it much, old neighbor is traveling so watching his posts but other than that donāt really have anyone on there
I donāt stay in touch with people very well so FB is good for that, but Iāve blocked so many people recently because of politics that I probably should take a break. Itās a chaotic forum.
I have just over 100 fb friends but I have unfollowed about 90% of them. Some people can post the biggest lot of crap. Some peopleās posts are triggering because of their strong convictions on politics or religion etc.
Yes it makes me feel alienated
I quit facebook about two years ago and donāt miss it.
used facebook to share poems. stopped when I kept getting spam messages
I use a fake name on mine as a experiment, works better no one can find me unless I want them to
Using a fake name is a pretty smart idea.
I agree @Hedgehog it really is chaotic. And I find a lot of people use it more to push a narcissistic agenda, rather than check on other people to see how theyāre doing.
what I found weird was on my real name there is a lot of friend suggestions from people all over the world, that I have no idea who they are, on my fake name one not a single friend suggestion, seems odd
@anon84763962 I deleted mine then opened up a new account. Now I wish I never even bothered.
That does seem odd. Hmmmm makes you wonder how the FB software is engineered.
yeah, that friend suggestion really freaks me out
LoL Crap it is, like 99% of it.
You crazy kids and your twitter booksā¦and facesnapsā¦ Lolā¦ I banished myself from Facebook 3 years agoā¦ I miss the ānewsā feed sometimes have a lot of funny friendsā¦ Its still active I just changed my password to something I would never remember to keep myself from logging inā¦
I unfollowed all my friends and hide my posts. My feed is just pages I follow.
I never get spam, itās weird. I guess I am somewhat under the radar
Thatās a bummer you donāt have that opportunity to share your poems though.
I had Facebook when it first came out, then deleted it when my wife and I got together because she was bothered by all the girls that would contact me on there. Started a new one years later when her and I were having problems, then during my psychotic break I deleted it because I got too paranoid. Itās been a couple years, but I donāt miss it and have no intention of signing back up.
Makes sense @Jimbob I had to unfollow a friend of mine I was in the service with. It makes me kind of sad. But his post during the election were so polemic and upsetting I was paranoid he was going to be investigated.
@anon68237654 Yeah when I deleted mine I really didnāt miss it. I signed up again because I lost a bunch of phone numbers and didnāt know how to get a hold of a relative.
Also, I sent my own father a friend request and he ignored it
