How much money will be enough for all your expenses and luxuary ?

I’m trying to have atleast a million in my bank account by 60. Hopefully I don’t have any health problems and am functioning well.

Sounds like a pretty small request. Wish I could work so I could actually make that or more. For now I’ll just chill with my modest ssdi. Maybe I’ll be able to work if things continue to improve.

I’m 16 and not sure I’ll even work a normal job, so I don’t know if I will ever have a lot of money

A trillion plus the 3 grand we make every month. I’d be so comfortable.

If I don’t have a business and it’s just me and my wife / kids, probably can get by with $50-100k a year. If there’s a business, then there will be a lot of expenses, so it could be like mid 6 figures.

Its never enough.

I’ve said many times if we made “X” it’d be perfect,

When “X” comes around, you need more.

I’m not sure if it ever ends.

I’m supposed to inherit millions from my mother after she passes away but thank goodness she is in good health and I don’t want the money, I want my mom. I will be an old man when I probably get the money and I don’t have to live in an old folks home hopefully.

What i have now each month is fine. It is enough to rent a cheap house, buy a few clothes and good quality food for the both and go out for a restaurant or short trip or so at times. But i cant save, so a 1000 euro emergency as i had recently is a problem.

To be totally comfortable id like to have some savings for emergency (10000) and my sons studies (40000), a house in a nice place that is my property and one free holiday each year.

I dont think i should complain though - I have enough. I could do with less than now if i tried harder.

Yes. I’ve surpassed goals made when younger, but, it turns out that more really is needed.
