Should I get a Corvette or a Porsche?
I think you should get a car you can afford.
A new car is a new car.
A used car is a used car.
There is no new used car.
What about a BMW M-Series?
You can afford a Porsche on disability??
Get a VW Beetle. Right former sleepybug @mermaid1?
Just wondering…
Probably some 1980’s Porsche junker. Worth less than $2500.
That would cost too much to repair and its very frequent if its old. Oil change for a Porsche is 400$+tx here.
Neither. Both are overpriced.
Neither. Get something that is practical and easily fixed. I’d hate to be servicing a porsche. Parts are expensive enough without the rarity and price from Germany.
Whatever you want to get, look up forums for the car and look up YouTube videos, that way you can find strengths or common problems, things to look out for when purchasing.
Get a dump truck.
Then when someone’s like “heyyy yo I need some dirt” you can be all like “woaah yeah hold up I got you, I’mma bring dat fine topsoil for ya right away”.
Thatd be cool
Some types of cars cost more money to insure than others. One reason is I think possibly that sports cars or just cars that are known to be fast can cost extra money to insure because they get more speeding tickets.
You have a way with words, lol.
I have a corvette but it’s an older one. A 2002 but it only has 44,700 miles on it. I paid right around $14,000 for it. Think it was a pretty good deal. I have a platinum warranty through CarShield on it.
They also cost two to ten times more to repair after a loss. The actuarial tables adjust for this.
I second the truck. A truck will make you money not cost you. I have a 4x4 truck and constantly have someone needing help with hauling, towing, needing to go somewhere in a snowstorm. You can get just of big and powerfully engine in a truck and performance parts too. But they are less to insure than a sports car. Trucks are heavy duty and parts cost more than most cars but last longer.
I’d get a Mini or a Beetle. Groovy baby!
