There is an airport in Cumbernauld where you can learn to fly. The helicopters go over my village all the time.

I am a pilot. Looking at buying my own plane in about six months. Have never paraglided through.

I’ve been skydiving a few times. It’s an amazing feeling, a rush like you wouldn’t believe :grinning:

The only thing worth missing about my ex is that he’s a pilot. I love flying! I haven’t been in a small plane for ove 20 years now, but I would go in a second.
I always wanted to hang-glide but never had the chance.
Good luck! I hope you’re flying soon!

Flying’s just the ability to miss the ground. Unfortunately gravity sucks

Been over 20 years here since I have been in a plane, used to fly almost everyday to northern locations, the worst flight was in a Beaver aircraft, the door did not close properly and froze my butt off, then landed got in a back of a pick up to the lake, then ski doo across the lake to spend the day in a unheated building and repeat to go home.

Best was a private jet, was sent their by mistake, had coffee and flew home LOL Lot’s of other stories, never learned to fly one, but the bush planes to remote locations were the interesting flights, following rivers to get out of a incoming snow storm, landing on small runways, folks are really friendly in settlements that have no roads.

I just flew in from New York last night. Boy are my arms tired.
Cue the rim shot.
Cue the canned laughter.
