I wish I could volunteer

And not have to worry about working for money.

If you’re completely and fully disabled by your sz diagnosis, and your psych dr and therapist agree and will support it, then you can try to get disability benefits/monetary assistance that way instead of working. Something to consider if your dr brings it up like mine did.

If you are fully disabled by sz then volunteer work might even be too much. I’m speaking from my personal experience. So talk with your drs to see what they recommend for you about volunteering. One day at a time!

I wish I could do the same, @anon25873142, but @anon90992146 is right: Being fully disabled by sz/sza makes for unique challenges that might best be addressed with a doctor. I hope you find happiness in whatever you are able to do.

The only problem here is I don’t have a psychiatrist or a team who supports me to get disability. I applied right after I came out of hospital and I kept the discharge notes. That’s how I managed to get it last time at a standard rate. Which is not enough to live on. I don’t have any current contact with the mental health teams. And they basically prefer me to work anyway.
