Good luck with it. Prepare for the odd pain in the arm. Best thing if your struggling with the pills. Its easy to get used to.

Thank you  So does it hurt when injected and after the shot?

Your first shot will be a high dose in the arm. Then a week later you might have a topup so its in your system. Then you can choose to have it in the backside where, for most it hurts less.

You honestly get used to it. Im on the Xeplion 100mg 4 weekly.
For me - i just get a 2 day delayed dull ache at the injection site afterwards. But Paracetomal will cure it.

I see it as one less thing to worry about. No more forgetting to take your pills.

Forgot to mention Paliperadone (Xeplion) is just risperadone
already metabolized in the liver. So if you have alcohol issues
(like me) its doesnt make your liver work so hard.

I prefer in the arm. First two shots 100 and 150. Thanks for describing it. It will be my first shot. I switched to injections because i may have gastritis, and the pills disturb my stomach. I have to do other test soon for this. I hope it will be ok.

I got the second injection one week difference since first. It went well. Best part is that i will be put on Invega once a three month after half year of monthly shots. I still take Depakote pills and sometimes a sleeping pill. I can happily say Invega works so good for me either pills or injections.
