Second Xeplion Shot

Today I got my second Xeplion shot: up from 25 to 50 mg. Therefore Olanzapin down from 15 to 10 mg.
I’m excited how it will be…

Xeplion-Shot is being stopped, because I don’t want to go every 4 weeks to the doctor, and I don’t like the injury of the injection, and I felt like being dead with no joy. Also it’s not good because of my kidney problems. I will stay on my loved Olanzapin 15mg, I’m on it for the last 15 years and I’m stable. I have the suspicion my doctor gave me Xeplion because he has benefits from the pharma referent.

I hear what your saying. Im quite flat as well on it. But my depot nurse said its better to have a low dopamine? I dont completley agree but its the only shot that keeps me well - so i put up with it.

Im on 150 now every 4 weeks. Sounds stupid - but its the lack of joy i get from playing any video games that winds me up the most.

Your nurse doesn’t seems to give a damn about you wellbeing in my opinion I will say

Your probably right. But at the end of the day, after being on various pills and injections over the years, its the only drug that sorts me out.

So i suck it up and live with it.

Edit : i would slightly disagree they dont give a damn. They have been quite supportive over the years, and visit me at home for the jab - cos they know i have problems with the public. I didnt want to sound like i was slagging them off - they are ok - but their is room for improvement.

This the only drug that sorts me out too and I get no lack of joy either.

Invega has been the best antipsychotic for me as well but its still quite intolerable… I am waiting for Karxt to come out and I am going to try it and I’m lowering my dose next month to 78mg

Invega has also been the best for me im on 78 mg its okay im also waiting for the new meds to come out

I do agree totally with you. When you have gotten a medication that works well for you. You should stay on it. Murphy second law. Never touch a running system.
