My psychiatrist told me yesterday, I accepted it. It will start in a month. I’ll tell you how I’m feeling over time.
Iclepertin according to what I read and what my psychiatrist told me is for cognitive symptoms, such as memory, learning and sociability.
I do not want to generate false expectations, I have not yet signed the study, there is 1 month to go, and the trial will last 6 months. But I will keep you posted on how I feel as the days go by.

I would love to be able to take something to help improve my memory and cognition. It just gets worse and worse over time.

From what I’ve read. In 2026 this medicine will go on sale. So by that year we will have medications for all the symptoms of schizophrenia. Positives, negatives and cognitive. We’ll have to be patient, it won’t be long so much time.

I’ll just have to wait about another 10-15 years after they’re released for the price to come down so I can afford them. But it sounds great.

I really need to take something for my memory, don’t really want to be social and as @LilyoftheValley says it all depends on the price of all these new drugs. I am looking forward to trying them even if they don’t work out. I will just go back to Haldol.

I wonder if this would help with learning disabilities as well!?

My psychiatrist told me for memory and learning. Later I found out on my own that it was for cognitive symptoms for schizophrenia, including sociability.

I could quite easily get access to this drug because we’ve got public healt care in my country but as always I seek the cheapest treatment so that the tax payers don’t have to pay for a whole farm house.

I participated in the phase 3 clinical trial, both the one with potentially placebo and the follow-up with definitively not placebo. It gave a small, but significant improvement after a few weeks, but after that nothing happened anymore.
I hope you will profit more than I did.
