I wouldn’t totally discount what a dr would say, i would have to take his advice if i lacked any understanding, he can advise you but i think the choice is yours but i’m not sure, if you lacked capacity then they can make decisions on your behalf but other than that you have a will of your own.

I would tend towards wanting the smallest effective dose, but I’m going to be honest, you sound like you’re still a little loosey goosey becaues you’re kind of talking a little poetically I don’t know if you’re doing that on purpose but I think you do need to trust the doctors and be willing to suffer a little bit, but also be your own advocate you gotta get to a new drug if one is giving you side effects, if a dose is giving you a brain fogging tell them to lower it.
Please know I just want you to get well. I only want that for all of us.
