I will call the psychiatric system tomorrow and ask for antipshycotics. I cannot bear the psychosis anymore it is too much
Yes I agree
It can get really tiring without the aid of medicine
I’m glad to hear that! Good luck!
Glad to hear. You need to sort this out first.
It is a strange psychosis. I don’t have the hallucinations or the delusions. But I feel sick. Completely beside of myself. I can just feel that theres something wrong in my mind
oh I’m so glad !! yayyyyy.
Good choice @anon55055794
Psychosis can be dangerous
It feels so strange, Im so exhausted
Whats wrong if its not psychosis?
I think it is the psychosis. It is like my brain is overactive my mind is always on. I feel so sensitive
Can you be psychotic without having delusions or hallucinations?
I think I am psychotic.
You could be feeling yourself begin to become psychotic. Maybe there’s warning signs for you that you’re noticing. I’m glad you’re going to get back on your meds
I think I need new meds, I don’t tolerate Zyprexa
That’s ok that it’s not the one for you. Hopefully your dr helps you find a better one
Glad you have an appointment soon. Good luck. I hope you find the right meds for you.
That’s normal
I went through 5-6 different APs before I found one that worked
Can it be so that psychosis is not necessarily hallucinations or delusions, but can be chaotic thoughts and emotions?
@anon55055794 chaotic thoughts are psychosis…keep close contact with your pdoc while you start your AP’s …it takes several weeks to fully gain stability on an ap. and check in here if you get paranoid…we are all your friends.
Thank you. It is better when I got some sleep. Do you think it is normal to get depression from antipsychotic or is it just because it was the wrong meds?
I am on an older med, generic prolixin…fluphenazine…I take 10 mg in the morning and 10 mg at night…I lost all my extra weight on this med, and have terrific sexual life. no side effects I mean. you might try it…I think what happened was that your seroquel you were on was so low it wasn’t enough to stop the wildfire in your brain. psychosis causes brain damage and sometimes when coming back on meds it takes more meds to work this coming time around…hang in there. I have hope for you I just hope you don’t keep going off your ap’s when you are stable again.
