So I was on geodon for bipolar and actually liked the drug, but it did nothing to stop my sz symptoms from starting. Does it really work to quiet voices?
i didnt notice a difference in the voices when i was on Geodon

I was doing the best of my lifetime on Geodon.
I was taking 80 mg mornings and 80 at night.
Now I only take 80 mg at night and feel like myself the most.
It has been the best med by far.

Weird. That’s not a story you usually hear!
It’s done nothing for me as of yet. In fact my voices have become even MORE vivid and aggressive lately.

Geodon took away my scary voices, but not my theme music or my news anchor. They went away for a few months, but they’re back now.

You said this happened when you started taking wellbutrin though.
Yeah true my symptom severity was pretty constant even off wellbutrin though. It wasn’t reducing anything only preventing it from getting worse and now it’s not even doing that.

Did you lower the dose ?
No, I’ve been on the same dose for almost a year. When I stopped taking amitriptyline, they went away for a few months. But they just came back a month ago.
