But my partner doesn’t agree with it. Ive made a promise to myself to walk more. So I’ve been walking everyday almost an hour. At some point I’ll do gym.
It’s your body
I don’t know why he would be against this?
He’s worried more about the potential side effects
But I told him I’ll use it as a last resort if I cannot lose the weight with my daily walks for three months. I give myself three months of 1 hour daily walks.
It’s expensive unless you have a health condition
They won’t prescribe to you so you would have to pay full price from a private online service for 1000$ a month
Yes but I have high cholesterol as a result of my weight so potentially free for me. But I’m also sceptical as much as I want to try.
My spouse is on ozempic and only has nausea as a side effect.
Which been getting better, but still getting nausea. Taking zofran for it and it works.
He is down 60lbs now.
As much as I want to do this naturally, as my partner also calls this a “quick fix”, but im also in two minds about trying it… im just bloody scared of the horror stories of side effects, like blindness
Walking and exercising are great. If you want to lose weight, you still need to eat fewer calories per day
I was on Mounjaro…and liraglutide prior to that. I was so obese that trying to exercise hurt. I went from 298 lbs to now 145 lbs. I didn’t have any side effects other than constipation. But now I’m not on it since i reached my goal weight and want to go back on it since i was put on Zyprexa and want to eat everything in sight. I got the Mounjaro cuz i have diabetes, it helped with that, too.
Overall Mounjaro is a safe med
It not only makes me lose a lot of weight it also reversed my diabetes and normalized my cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
This drug is absolutely amazing!
You should seriously consider going on this med @anon25873142
If you don’t have diabetes you can always go on Zepbound
This drug is Mounjaro but for people without diabetes
I mean the longer time side effects of taking it. It’s not been there long enough. But I’m going to talk to my doctor if there’s any suggestions or alternatives.
I’d get on it if I could afford it.
Ugh I feel guilty about even considering it… My partner keeps telling me about potential side effects and how he’d rather me be there than not. Tough decision.
So I spoke to my.GP. It’s not available to me for free unless I’m diabetic. And I have to go private. I can’t afford that. So … Exercise is the way to do it.
