I want to stay on the road to recovery too. I’ve been going out a little more. I need to go for walks more often.
I try using my body to tell me I’m fine. Seems hard but it isn’t. If the voices come at you just try to bring them up again whilst listening to what they previously said. if this happens you can listen to the whole thing from start to finish and tell yourself thats not how a normal person would say that" instantly your over your fears doubts of the voices. I am learning to blend in with the voices. Be with the disorder to overcome. You’re where it starts. Good Luck
That reminds me of an Albert Einstein quote:
“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
At this moment, @Anna1 doesn’t want to change anything in her life. It’s obvious from her posts here. But she expects to get better… How can we convince her to try therapy?
Good day, Anna1.
I encourage you to at least try to find a positive thought.
For example, your meds are helping you. That is one of positive result.
Let me tell you a joke, or unusual belief to be exact.
You can use your physical heart as your second brain to support you. You can google “heart second brain” if you have nothing to do.
You are not alone.
I want to excuse for complaining so much, sorry for that… I try to go out, anna. Mostly to the grocery shop or to pay my bills or to the pharmacy.
Idk, those days I am more paranoid in the morning with my new dosage of Zyprexa. I find that the chemistry of the meds can sometimes be stronger than our emotions so it messes up with the recovery. They are strange meds at the end…
