I’ve heard the hillbilly elegy is good?? Anyone read it?? I mostly like non fiction and eastern philosophy/a little western philosophy too. books. Any suggestions?

I love Project Gutenberg! You can get e-books in different formats. Even some in audio format where people have volunteered to do the reading.

“A man called Intrepid”.
It’s about English/American espionage during WW2. Ian Fleming, James Bond’s creator, seems to have been inspired by the protagonist of this book.
It’s totally non fiction although at times I used to let out an “ah that can’t be real” while reading it.

When we were in Portland we went to Powell’s Books which is a bookstore that takes up a whole city block. I bought two poetry books, anthologies of Shelley and Blake and Mr Turtle bought me a history of the world. I also bought a big mug and I use it for soup at work.
I’d love to go back to Powell’s Books. They have both new and used books. On the shelf they have the new book and right next to it, editions of used books so you have a choice how much you spend. It’s great, they have such an amazing selection and a great gifts area, well several gift areas, it’s a big store.

I give up on music I’m putting all my energy towards working out (excercise) I decided. That way I’ll get a girlfriend easily. Its whats truly holding me back I decided. I walked to Barnes and noble and bought two books. Hold up pics coming up. !!!
What?? 
It’s not what I desire. I just wanted a girlfriend and realized I can get that with excercise instead of becoming a musician . It causes me too much anxiety, music does. Excercise will decrease my anxiety. Push-ups, sit-ups , and a 35 pound bar with weights is all I’m gonna do. But I’ll be able to get jacked.
