I am reading ā€˜A new earth-create a better lifeā€™ by Eckhart Tolle. It is excellent reading so far.

I spied it in @anon83141956 's post, so I got myself a xmas present. Thanks butterfly.

When I find a book to read I try not to overdo it or Iā€™ll burn out. I read for about an hour a day or 50 pages or so.

The last book I read. I loved it.

I started Roadside Picnic but had kind of a hard time getting into it.

Itā€™s a really old Russian sci first novel, and Iā€™ve read that the most recent translation wasnā€™t quite the best.

Very interesting concept though.

I just finished listening to an audiobook about chakras. It was a waste of time.

I listen to a lot of ā€œalternative healthā€ audiobooks but theyā€™re all just a waste of time.

The Bible is good.:slightly_smiling_face:

Chakras are legit. All mine are balanced according to tests.

Whatā€™s that about if you donā€™t mind?

It is about how the ego controls your life. It gives insight as to how to change your perceptions to create a better you. Basically it is a self help book aiming towards enlightenment.

It is written quite simply without too much complication and is well worth the read.

Switch by Grant Mckenzie is really good. Read it when I was teen. I think itā€™s a Crime thriller. Canā€™t remember.

Please tell me what you thought of War and Peace?

I thought it was good. The way the characters interacted with one another. It was well written and I was able to basically devour it. It switched from the drawing rooms of St. Petersburg to the battlefields giving me a good change of scenery so to say. It ended abruptly though.

Anything by Stephen King or R.A. Salvatore, canā€™t go wrong!
