How can I control my food intake in a way that’s safe and will let me lose the 25 kgs I have put on since I have been off work?
I have seen somewhere that 80% is food 20% exercise
My motivation to exercise is not there, but I can starve myself

Meal replacement shakes are helpful!
I get fed up with being overweight but I binge eat so what to do?
I think I had an eating disorder before (Undiagnosed) but I was at the psych hospital and I was really underweight and had ketones in my blood - but no one really told me what they were
I walk a lot and replace my lunch with a Huel shake.
What I did last time I manipulated my diet was just to eat Cous Cous and tuna with frozen mixed veg.
Not sure about meal replacements though
I got down to 59kgs then, I am 95kgs now
How tall are u? I quit eating in the psych ward too.
One thing i realised is dieting sucks and backfires. I tried everything
I am 173cm tall. Think 5 foot 8 inches that is.
Not sure that 59 kgs was as low as I could go, but I want to be back at that level and I am prepared to do everything I can to achieve this
I drink Huel 3 times a day. It comes in lots of yummy flavours. Each shake is a nutritionally complete meal. Huel is easy to make and fairly satisfying for me. Each shake is 400 calories.
I also have a piece of meat and fruit everyday. I top up eating a handful of gluten free cornflakes as I feel.
I also do around 30 minutes of yoga everyday.
Starting at your weight for your height the first 5kg should come off easily.
Good luck!
If you want I can refer you as a friend and both of us can get £10 off. (pm me and email addresses can be exchanged)
I am going to have to research it as I know nothing about it
With this I want to lose the weight as fast as possible
Google Zero Point Soup.
They are Weight Watchers veggie soup recipes. Very filling, can be very inexpensive to make, and they are super low in calories. Dense in water and fibre.
I need to lose 150lb.
Started pretty abruptly cutting sugar and carbohydrates completely.
It’s a sacrifice and insanely difficult at first to resist cravings.
But within a month - i cravings kept getting easier and easier.
Now I can have normal healthy food in small portions and be satisfied
with an occasional sweet like once or a few times a month.
i badly want to loose weight
also need to loose 100+lbs
i did good at first lost 10lbs in less than a month
now im stuck havent lost any more in a month
im so frustrated
My advice would be…balance is everything.
I lost 45 pounds by having set meals and set exercises. Where there is variation in meals or exercise there will be variations in weight loss. It’s like making money, the margins of profit per day aren’t all that much so a little splurging is a lot.
TL;dr
Make a specific plan and stick to it.
Mine was 3 meals a day, 600 calories per meal and at least 20,000 steps. Simple math.
Starving doesn’t work. Try eating 1500 calories per day. You can track your calories with MyFitnessPal easily
You can watch my video on how to lose weight, it has scientific explanation
My plan is to stop having breakfast and to start walking.
