You mean prey, like dead mice and birds?
This happens with outdoor cats, my cat is exclusively an indoor cat @anon25873142
I knew someone in this thread would say to get a cat instead. Sz and their cats…
Get the dog! Dogs are better!
Yeah I love dogs too.
But I’m in no shape to take care of a dog properly.
Having a cat is still a lot of work but so much easier for us SZ’s to take care of.
Maggie is adorable by the way!
Thanks @Wave !

I want to get a dog too. I need someone in charge of my life. A dog would take care of me. I’ve got to get someone to help me financially, a person if I get a dog.
Yes wave I wouldn’t mind getting one but its not fair to have to let the cat go once I move out…not fair on the cat.
You are a grown ass woman,
If you want a dog, get one.
You and your partner should have your own place anyway.
It’s time to start your life away from your family.
Not as easy as it seems if you’re still living with your mum and can’t afford to move out.
My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat, but I trained him to bring leaves as presents instead of dead rodents. He still hunts, but he won’t bring them inside anymore. We also trained the cats to stay off the countertops and table. They’re super duper low maintenance. We have an automatic litterbox, and leave the bathtub dripping for them to drink from, so we just need to remember to fill their food bowls regularly.
One great thing about cats is that they ALWAYS know what time it is, so they will force you to stay in a routine.
