Wanting another baby after my diagnosis i want to be a mum again this time without perinatal and post natal depression x
How old is the baby you have?
So you already have a child? What will you do differently now that you stifle with mental illness to ensure you stay healthy throughout and after the pregnancy? It’s important to have a really good support system set in place. Do you have that?

@LilyoftheValley yes I do a 3 year old and yes I do i have my husband and family around me 1st time I was preg was before my diagnosis of schizophrenia and I suffered with depression throughout my pregnancy and afterwards it wasn’t fun. I duno wat to do differently im just hoping I don’t suffer as bad if at all xx

Ok. That’s great that you have support. What about meds? Have you talked to your pdoc about what you can take medication wise to keep you mentally healthy this time?
@LilyoftheValley thank u ahh my psychiatrist discharged me from their care as I wasn’t taking my meds I stopped on Christmas day last year n haven’t been on antipsychotics since I still take amitryptiline tho it helps me sleep x

Well, that’s pretty risky. Maybe you should consult at least a therapist and see if being med free is wise for you, or if they have more negatives than positives
