I want a small tattoo on my right inner wrist towards the right side but I am scared to go in the shop. I’m not scared of the pain but scared they’d muck it up. Do they stensil the design on you first? I’m really not practicing religion but the aum has cultural significance to me. My grandmother had hers done when she was 10 haha… Hers are tribal dots… they still look amazing despite them fading and stretching after all them years.
I don’t have much experience with tattoo parlors however I do believe a lot of them should have books at the front desk showing the work of their tattoo artists. Mine was done by the same person that did one of my husbands so I already knew his work.
Go in there and make sure you ask a lot of questions - also I would go to a reputable tattoo artist - I went to one woman I did not know, she messed up my tattoo (scarred it up bad) I am pretty sure she was stoned when she inked me
You dont have to get it right away - if you feel even a bit unsure about it. I personally would give it some more time to think about it. Make sure you decide on a tattoo you can live with - I mean its permanent.
I would do a lot of research on the different parlors in your area - if you know of someone who got a tattoo and had a good experience with it - you can take it from there. Good luck!
