A few days ago I booked myself in for a consultation with a a tattoo artist. I really liked her work and wanted her to tattoo and design mines. She invited me in to come on Sunday (today). It took me 1 1/2 hours to get there and the woman spoke to me for 5 minutes and then she told me she couldn’t help me more with the design as she had an appointment. So why invite me? I am so angry but I just told her I don’t think I’m ready. It was one of those top tattoo studios. I think I’m gonna stick to a local tattoo studio that friends have recommended.
I never got a tattoo but have been to tattoo parlors, once ages ago with a friend and drinking companion and later for other reasons entirely.
I know what I would get if I actually got one. I just saw so many people get stupid tattoos over my life by the time I could have got one (without being put in mental health services for two weeks). I have good friends with lots of tattoos but not one myself.
Nothing lasts longer than the regret of an ugly tattoo you have to be reminded of on a daily basis.
Research the tattoo artists work, and don’t be afraid to pay whatever it takes to get the best.
