I have decided to go to the group home.
What did you think of the place? I really hope it all works out for you.
I liked the house, and I liked the way the street looks.
Good luck with everything @Jake
I’ve been in several group homes. I was in a real nice one and some that weren’t so nice. When you’re living there, you just get used to being there and it seems normal. I bet you will have plenty of free time to go on walks or go to the store for a soda or whatever you want. They will probably even cook for you (they might make clients take turns cooking though; would be a good thing to inquire about ahead of time). Once you’re there for a few weeks you’ll settle in and get used to it.
Best wishes to you @Jake. Hope it works out for you.
Thanks @anon65600981
Can you play your drums there @Jake?
No, I can’t play the drums there.
I hope you like it over there. You’ll be able to live your own life. One day I want to live on my own as well. Right now I live with my dad.
Keep us posted!
Will your parents let you keep your drums at home? Maybe play when you visit?
Yes, my parents will let me keep my drums at home. I am planning on playing the drums when I visit home.
Cool, I was worried for a minute there.
It’s probably better to keep them at home anyway. That way no one can mess them up or steal them.
