One of the SEALs was there listening in on my conversation and reporting on me. I don’t want to go to a restaurant now. I’ll still try but they won’t leave me alone. Also, he was mocking me in his mind. I could tell by his facial expressions
Remember how you insisted to me the SEALs are after you? Here’s more proof they aren’t. What you’re experiencing isn’t real. I think you need to talk to your psychiatrist about this.
I’m sorry this is interfering with your ability to go out and socialize. I’m sure you don’t want to hear it again but: The Navy Seals are not following you and they are not doing things like “mocking you in his mind”. It’s all in your head Pianogal.
Sorry this was troubling to you however. I wish your meds would help with this delusion.
I always do. We just increase or change meds but it never goes away. They’ve been following me since 2008. But I’ll tell my dr again. I’m convinced they’re real because they never go away no matter what. I see her this week.
Thanks @Bowens.
If you’re seeing the same guys all the time it’s probably a hallucination? Do you not think that’s possible?
Not really because not even 240 mg of Geodon took it away. Granted, I’m not maxed out on Haldol yet. But I’ve been on A LOT of different APs at the highest possible dose and they never go away
Did you ever ask someone else, e.g. your husband if they can see them also?
I have. Sometimes they see someone there, and sometimes they swear they don’t. No one has seen the actual SEALs but lots of people have seen the people sent by the SEALs to report on me. They know now that I know who they are so they’ve gotten better at hiding from others. They’re quiet and sneaky, like ghosts
They’re hallucinations then.
That’s a paranoid delusion.
But you need to make a leap of faith and trust your doctors when they too tell you it’s not real.
I wish I could help you as I hate to see you suffering like this.
Thanks @everhopeful
I get pretty obsessive about some delusions. Like you the APs didn’t touch this. But I kinda figure now it’s more obsessive than delusional.
Have you and your doc ever discussed obsessionality? Just a thought
Navy SEALS have to go to work. They can’t keep following people around all the time.
It has to be frustrating to completely believe something like you do for as long as you have and have everyone in the world tell you that it’s a delusion.
Navy seals aren’t secret agents that follow people around, and for decades for that matter. They are used in warfare.
No we haven’t. What’s the treatment for that?
sorry to hear you couldn’t relax in the restaurant…
i hope you feel better over time… must be hard being followed the whole time…
@LilyoftheValley you are nobody to the SEALS…you are a civilian woman, young too…nothing you do interests the navy…you are delusional…I wish this would sink in…
@LilyoftheValley , I can tell what people are thinking in their minds sometimes by their facial expressions and body gestures too. I can change their thoughts to something more neutral by my body gestures also.
I know that’s not quite what you experience but it’s similar.
No one is following you honey.
I’m sorry that you are haunted by this @LilyoftheValley
But you have to know that it’s just a delusion.
You may have to go see a therapist that specializes in CBT made especially for psychosis since none of the meds are eliminating the delusions.
No one is following you.
Keep telling yourself this even if you don’t believe it fully.
