I’ve been sleeping worse since I started tapering my clozapine.
And because of some stress and poor sleep I’m starting to dramatize my future in my head.
I think I will go back on the original dose and just accept that I sleep 12 hours a day.
I think it’s for the best.
Just wanted to share.
I also slept on it 12 hours a day, regardless of the dose.
I am happy I am off it since years.
I’ve been totally off the clozapine only 3 days now…vivid dreams and last night it took forever to get to sleep. I hope that improves. I liked how well clozapine helped my sza, but couldn’t keep on it from the heart issues. On Zyprexa now…good luck to you.
Thanks. I will try to give it some time. Maybe I just need to get through the withdrawals.
I took some extra clozapine today because I was feeling really bad, but will try to continue on the lower dose tomorrow again.
We’ll see if it works out.
does ur doctor know ur changing the dose? they say not to lower or raise it to quick i think (though i really shouldnt talk cause i cold turkeyed 350mg before haha) . are u still on the weekly blood draws?
I haven’t done blood work in years because I take a very low dose. My pdoc knows that I take it as a prn. I took today 45 mg instead of 20 mg.
Like I said. Very low doses.
