I think I might find a new job

Well I’ve been thinking about it and I had a meeting with our office manager and I’m not entirely sure that I’m the best fit for the office I currently work at. My office manager suggested I start looking into working at another office and I think she might be right. Maybe a slower paced office, one that isn’t 11 hour days with multiple doctors. I mean there are offices out there that have a single doctor and are slower paced in general. I mean I’ve proven one thing to myself and that’s if I can work at my current office I can work anywhere(it’s just a matter of where I WANT to work). I’ve gotten into a rough spot with my work with getting the write ups and all, and I almost feel as though I should quit while I’m ahead.

I hope you’re able to find something that suits you better.

I’m in the same boat, sort of, with needing a different side job.

I have taken the hard decision to take a break from work. Might be needed for you also to get your head right.

Depends what support it available.

I am not sure I can get help, but we’ll see.

Sometimes we need a break. But maybe a less stressful environment is needed. I know when I go back it will be to a low stress job

Jobs are hard, currently I lie on my back with my back bent into a curve and my head bowed, my ear hurts from the dizzy spinning of the egg, I am broken buy shiatsu :frowning: 2020-03-08T00:00:00Z

The advice most people that work give is don’t give up your job your until your hired somewhere else. Life is hard & most people make it so that it’s harder keep working. you didn’t get to where your at by giving up and listening to anyone. Do your thing & struggle babe. make money instead of laying in a bed watching the days go by. Ignore that manager all there doing is complaining. Job hunt but don’t quit love. Your better than that.

Well I’ve begun to put my resume and cover letter out there, spent about four hours working on it today. Really hopeful. I think I have about a month to find a new position, and my office is going to start to look for replacements for me. They did state however that they want this to be a smooth transition and would ideally have me find a job and have them fill my position around the same time so we will see how that goes.

Hey @TomCat how did your interview go?

Pretty good I think. But they have several more people to interview.

I interviewed with them once before and didn’t get the job. The questions weren’t real hard though. I think I had good answers.

So now I have three interviews lined up. Well technically four but one office wants to meet me in person then have me back on Monday for a working interview. So I have two interviews Friday and two interviews Monday. I’m just nervous, I’m also worried that if I get offered something I won’t be able to say yes or no right away because out of the three offices there is only one I truly want to work at. How would you navigate that? I don’t want to take my time replying then lose out on an opportunity if the other one falls through.

I’m beginning to worry about finding a job with the economy crashing so badly.

Well I’ve started to become extremely worried now I have less than 3 weeks to find a job and dental offices all over town are switching to emergency only procedures. How am I supposed to find a job during this madness?
